Amanda Witt In the Melbourne Museum, Australia, is a large original computer model that was originally at the university I think. My dad worked there (at the uni) and spoke about how it took up a whole room.
He marvelled when my sister got a laptop for school work in the 1990's.

It's really amazing how far computers have come in such a short time. Even just between when I started undergrad and we got a 62 MB flash drive and now, when my grad school provides us with over 1000 GB of cloud storage... huge difference!

I know, I was one of the first in my Australian city's new state curriculum subject of 'Information technology' in the mid 1990's. I had a box of ten floppy disks.
Now I take a couple of flash/USB drives with me.
