Imagery for me was when Trixie was at her first party in the bathroom puking. Although she was actually sick from the flu, I could see how everyone else at the party thought she was throwing up because she was intoxicated. I just could really visualize her looking miserable and sick at this party.

I feel like the scene where Trixie is playing in the snow is not too relevant to the actual novel itself. If I were the author, I'd omit this section.

I predict that Jason is going to end up telling the police that Daniel threatened to kill him and almost followed through with it when he kidnapped him and took him into the woods.

I am distracted by Seth coming into random scenes of the novel. Although Trixie is the primary subject in the book right now, Seth keeps trying to reach Laura to 'tell her something important' yet it doesn't say what he needs to tell her.

I started to question whether or not Trixie was really raped by Jason Underhill. Much like many of the characters in the novel, I began to notice some inconsistencies with her story of 'That Night' which really makes me question Trixie's sincerity.

I noticed that no matter how hard Daniel tries to forgive Laura for her infidelity, he always comes back around to the thought of her sleeping with her student. Although he tried to push it off, he always brings it back up.

It's hard to believe that Laura broke it off the night of Trixie's incident because it seems like too much of a coincidence.

I wonder what Laura Stone's excuse is going to be for not being able to answer her cellphone, or office phone while her daughter was in the hospital.

My book reminds me of high school in general. All of the events Trixie is going through right now, like depression, guy troubles, partying, etc. all fall in the stereotypical idea of what high school is.

So far I am enjoying this book. At first, it was kind of boring and didn't catch my attention, but at the point where I am right now, it has gotten more interesting. Most of the characters are becoming more emotionally unstable and it is interesting to follow how they are handling their situations.

"she dragged the makeshift knife over the white canvas of her inner arm. As soon as she dud it, she wished she could take it back. Crazy girls did this, girls who walked like zombies through YA novels. Trixie felt the sting of the skin as it split, the sweet welling rise of blood. It hurt, though not as much as everything else." This stood out to me because it makes me wonder how many people have gone through this.
