Part 3 ffluenza reminds me of this because it was not a term until a murder trial in the 1990s so that case and the documentary the book is based on is what made the word affluenza popular among people and actually become an official word this Oxford Dictionary. Part 2 I can connect how affluenza became an actual term to the video we watched yesterday. The lady talked about how a word becomes a word. I learned that there is a committee that votes and decides on different words. -Peadar McGrath

So far this book is really interesting. In my LA class last year we talked about affluenza and how it related to "The Outsiders" in various ways so I had some background information on it. At this point in the book I am really liking it so far and I can see why it was such a popular documentary originally. -Peadar McGrath
