Chronicle of a desperate man's descent into madness, or at least extreme fruitcakery. Brilliant in places, but mostly a rambling, narcissistic, grandiose, paranoid, inconsequential pile of recycled and semidigested self-referential twaddle. The sort of stuff all kinds of fake gurus spewed out in the 70s and 80s. With lots of footnotes and cross references.
