Right now I can visualize Cody becoming older looking and caring less about his appearance (not shaving, dressing more casual, etc.). I can also see him just staring in disbelief looking at this article in the newspaper.

Peter Abrahams, the author of this book, included a lot of details about what Clea and Cody are doing now. This is important because as they are busy doing more things, they end up having less and less time for each other. They are starting to grow apart.
