There are TWO books with the same title?! Is that even allowed?!!

Yeah... I find that out now, lol! I reserved "A Certain Slant of Light" at the library, didn't even think to check the author's name. So, last night when I started reading this, you can imagine how thoroughly confused I was, because this story certainly wasn't what I expected it to be. So... got home, checked GR & was even more confused because none of my GR friends have read, reviewed or TBR'd this book! Finally, a lightbulb went off over my head, I searched by the title & discovered ~ as you said, two books exist with this name :(

On a less confusing & slightly more pleasant note... this A Certain Slant of Light is not at all something I would normally pick up to read, but I find myself enjoying it anyway :)

lol Megan! At least you're enjoying this one. I've seen reviews from people on some pretty hardcore erotica who originally thought they were buying something else entirely. Their reviews read like testimonials from people who thought they were taking a big swig of apple juice only to find it was whiskey.

Hahaha :) I can only imagine the expression on someone's face who is not expecting all of the hardcore smut! lol. But swapping whiskey for apple juice *shudder* Gives me a yuck face just thinking about it!

According to the synopsis, this sounds like cheesy, HEA, pretentious literary fiction ~ which it sort of is. But it has drawn me in anyway. Don't know if it is the writing, the story, or the fact that my secret dream is to live a hermit, hippie lifestyle & make my living from the land, lol. Regardless, this mistake has turned out to be a lucky one.
