Look. This book is terrific. Really, really, really good. Loaded with sex and gender politics, social theory, and a great story, and I'll recommend this series to anyone. BUT I JUST CAN'T GET INTO IT. I'm putting it down. Gah. Sorry.

Already liking the pacing of this one more than that of the first book. First book was like an introduction to the flavor of the world and its background, and I feel like the story is finally beginning!
