The setting of the book is in a little town. It is a very ordinary town. What they have explained so far is that there is one school that everyone goes to. It goes through most if the grades. They also have a park that the kids play at.

I chose this book to read because when I was in 6th grade mu humanities told me to read this book at sometime. I started to read a little bit of it in 6th grade but I slowly just stopped reading. So that is why I am reading the book.
