I'm already having a hard time remembering these characters and places, and I'm literally from this area. Honestly that may be on me, but I'm already a bit uninterested. Regardless I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt, because I really enjoy the way the plot is unfolding/the authors style of story telling.

Genuinely surprised that this author is a local to the area, because all of the places and car rides and travel times literally do not make sense. Also the place name dropping is literally straight out of a “The Californians” SNL skit every other line is about some other town in the Bay Area, regardless if it makes sense.
