Something is off with Mr. Gibson and his son. I don’t think they’re bad or villains, but Mr. Gibson blushed blue and when Felix was cut, he bleed … teal. HE BLEED TEAL AND MR. GIBSON BLUSHES TEAL!!!

I love how the author speaks about weight, and dieting. It’s realistic without being hateful and self deprecating. The woman protagonist talks about how tight her dress fits around her arms in a relatable way.
