Out Of Bounds by Charlotte E. English 2-1/2 stars. Mariana's long awaited Companion shows up except it isn't hers. And Mariana has to work with the Companian to find her missing friend who was the real Chosen.

A Clutter Of Cats by Elisabeth Waters. Lady Lena and Maja save a bag of drowning kittens and discover a new girl with Animal Mindspeech just before the girl is Chosen.

Sacrifices Of The Heart by Michele Lang. 2 stars. Sparrow and Cloudbrother. I don't like this series but this one was not as bad as usual.
They Don't Burn Children by Loisa Swann 3-1/2 stars. This could have been the best story of the anthology. The storyline was good but too much didn't make sense. It seemed more like an acid trip than visions. It didn't fit anything from the Valdemarean world.

A gift Of Courage by Anthea Sharp 2 stars. A timid Healer wants to propose to his Bardic girlfriend but she has just reunited with her old Bardic boyfriend. Angsty and tedious.
