First off, I really enjoy vampire novels that give you slight hints that say, "Hey, you're a vampire! Or are you? Hmmm..." V.M. Black's writing style really gives you a good feel for the characters. Her first person is very enticing. So now I'm on chapter four and I'm wondering, how is a strikingly handsome man, not a doctor (cough--vampire?-cough), going to help our leukemia sickened heroine?
