This book is like 45% boring, 45% weird descriptions that make me narrow my eyes at Gene Roddenberry, and then 10% unexpectedly poetic, beautiful lines. What's that all about, Gene? Kinda skimming this current bit because I know I'll be interested again for the last 30% of the novel
