In the epilogue, it says that Julie closed her eyes and now it's showing and reliving the memories that Julie is having with Sam starting from the very first time they made eye contact and when they first hung out at Sam's work place and met his friends, sorta, and when they went to a school dance and Julie got jealous he was dancing with a friend that's a girl but Sam offered to dance with Julie until when Sam left.
