Thomas now sucking up all the emotions he has built inside of his because of Chucks death results into the woman from WICKED saying "Everything happens for a purpose" which is suddenly disrupted by the sound of screaming and gun shots. People outside bust down the door and held the WICKED woman and shot her dead. Men told Thomas and his group to leave the scene immediately afterwards. None is shown about Gally.

Gally, who seems to be under control, pulls out a sharp object, a dagger. He throws it towards Thomas's direction as fast and Thomas could just watch as it looked like in slow motion but couldnt dodge, then suddenly someone took the hit, it was Chuck. Thomas now feeling a sense of all these emotions for his fallen friend who he made a promise to get him out now dead. He starts punching Gally for his fallen friend.

They then enter some long tunnel thats like a throat of a gigantic beast which they get to the end of it. Massive white coffin looking objects and some ducts and computers. What catches Thomas's eyes is a woman, who brings out a character we would have never expected before and when everyone saw him it was a surprise and shocked every glader, It was Gally.

The Grievers ripping apart Thomas's friends and other glader's within the maze, when looking around more grievers seem to attack each glader, but Thomas gets stung by one when he tries fighting one off but somehow he is able to defeat one, the first ever griever that has been defeated. Teresa having some trouble with the code to enter and finally end the maze, but chuck surprisingly solved it with it being, PUSH.

Thomas and Minho are out and about into the maze, thats when everyone else in the group who are also running witness a bunch or pack of grievers behind them.

As the gladers are going throught the maze, the greivers seem to activate and go after them, Alby suddenly makws himself as a sacrifice for the grievers so they wouldnt attack the others but it didnt work and now they are catching onto the other gladers.

Thomas and the others are now getting ready to enter the greiver hole, packing supplies, and needed essentials, weapons, and food. Their plan is to get in the hole and find the door which leads them out the maze.

Minho and Thomas are now in the maze, they are explaining to each other the directions and how they find their paths, as such, they cut ivy to find their way out again to see their way back like the story of Hansel and Gretal.
