There are times when I find my mouth hanging agape, stunned beyond imagination. The author clearly is well-versed & has done his homework; his accounting is detailed & fact-based, leaving little to assumption. It's taking me a while to read this novel; not because I don't enjoy it, quite the opposite, as I find that I don't WANT to put it down. Rather, I find that I HAVE to put it down; the story is THAT emotional.
