This is a really good ending. I thought I'd enjoy this book some, but I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much, in spite of the drawn-out beginning.

It occurs to me that the message here isn't as overtly anti-science as I initially suspected. Shelley minimizes it a little, but it's more about the many factors that lead to Frankenstien becoming a murderer. Much more interesting than I thought it would be.

Frankenstien, you idiot! I mean, I don't criticize characters for being idiots - this in no way affects my opinion of the book. Ahem. But Frankenstien, you idiot!

I'm just now realizing how little I read of this book at a time. In this entire section I just read, it's nothing but Frankenstien going to London. And he's not even there yet.

This is really fascinating. Everyone seems completely justified in what they do, but both Frankenstien and the Monster end up looking like assholes. end up looking like

I am enjoying this. Not quite as much as I thought I would, but it's still pretty good.

I kinda want to read Paradise Lost now.

The Monster is a really, really interesting character. All in all, this seems like a pretty good start for sci-fi.

The real story is most definitely worth the wait. I mean, this is just phenomenal.

And finally, almost halfway in, we really meet the Monster. This better be worth the wait.
