This is just so good. At the heart of it, there's of course the idea of living the same life over and over again (though it isn't so much the same life as the same body) and that's pretty familiar territory. Atkinson works magic with the idea, in a way that feels so visceral and real and credible. It's fantastic.

Weird how absolutely uncomfortable it is to read about Ursula in Hitler's vicinity. For obvious reasons it's uncomfortable, but also, which is the weird part, for less obvious reasons. As if she should know what is about to happen.
