I'm not sure why this book is getting hate. If I were 12 (and I was, once) I would loathe any person who dared disrupt my peaceful life...even with the best of intentions. These characters are supposed to be frustrating and irritating, if only to show you the beginnings of a transformation. I just hope I won't be eating my words at the end...
