Some on-passing and matter-of-fact writing about the canyons of the yangtze, aside from that nothing but nature silence about this tropical paradise. Somewhat confusing mingling between the war with Japan and panAm's business. I suppose it makes sense to those that knew the deal. In other words, too much investigative reporting without a theme. Brilliantly well rearched, however.

Complicated story line. We sure treated the Chinese bad. Sad chapter, idiot business people, then and today.
