Addie is talking about Valarie's mom and how much she is like a teenager and how care free she is with everything that Valarie does

The protagonist is Addie, but right now there is no antagonist yet.

In my book, Cancer has the most power, Addies mom died of cancer and now Addie has a lump on her stomach that she believes is cancer and can't really do that much about it.

3. "Dan Swansea came awake in the darkness, not knowing for a minute, who he was or where." This quote definitely draws you in because it makes you wonder what happened to Dan.

" If time was a dimension, and not a straight line, if you could look down through it like you were looking through water and it could ripple and shift." I chose this quote because, I had never thought about time like that and it made me think about what time really is and how it works.
