WOW. WOW. WOW. This is incredible. Baldwin so easily highlights all the problems I have with the church and their moral structure. I had never considered how the church was constructed for white people to keep white people in power to this degree. Incredible and I can’t put it down.

I LOVE the way he writes. At the heart of change must be love, but people will call it bitterness. “And now you must survive because we love you.” Hatred is a testament to their fear, not your lack of worth. Changing the status quo is scary, upheaval of one’s reality - but it MUST be done with love.
