This book isn't too much of a challenge, but there still are words I come across that don't make sense.

I think Snickets chaperon is a horrible spy because she doesn't look into the case as deep as Snicket. She is to independant to work with someone else but I think that will change after they solve this case.

Right now Theodora and Snicket are in a hotel trying to find a way to get the statue from the Mallahans and give it back to Mrs.Sallis. I think that the statue really belongs to the Mallahans and Mrs.Sallis just wants the statue. I think this because when Snicket went up to the top of the lighthouse he asked Moxie Mallahan to see it and she just showed him. Also because Moxie said the Mallahans and them were friends

I started reading this book a while ago and stopped reading then started it again. The beginning is really confusing but if you keep reading it gets better. Right now the main character is trying to get back a stolen statue of someones and is at the house of who he thinks stole it.
