Back in Rachel’s new job, her boss begins to complain about her work ethic. As soon as she begins to let her go, Meryl walks in and listens to everything .

Charlie’s father finally arrived and as he does, he realizes Titus is dead asleep on the couch. His mother says she put some sleeping pills in his hot chocolate so he could rest until the next day.

We see more of Rachel back home with her father. She thinks something more dark than usual, giving me the idea that she wants to make someone miserable.

When Matthew finally showed up, he acted strange on Christmas Day. He eventually ended up disappearing for a good amount of time and had everyone worrying.

Around Christmas time it was time for them to go up to Charlie’s parents place. Matthew had to stay behind for a thing, making Charlie suspicious.

Matthew ends up feeling sick after having a talk with his mother about the murder. We also see a flashback to their dinner with Rachel, where we learn that Rachel might be in love with one of them.

The day of their dinner with Rachel, Charlie goes to a game of tennis with his friend. Here he learned that Matthew had been keeping a detail about his college life a secret from him. Later in the dinner, his mother comes over unexpectedly and meets Rachel who she thinks she’s met before.

Matthew and Charlie try to have a talk with Titus, who seems to be set on heading to Melanie’s for a bit. He doesn’t want to hear what they have to say and is being really disrespectful.

Rachel tells the story of how it was that she was near Titus when he was mugged, she was following him. The next day, Charlie thought there was something off about their house.
