Good and interesting elements but they are just lost amidst all tbd I-don’t-know-what.
They just had an argument and referred to it a few pages later and by then I had completely forgotten what they’d said. Started to go back but, really, what’s the point.

Supposedly unattractive and no one notices her but she’s been married 3 times? That itself makes her an interesting person. It’s not adding up.
