Poor Alice Nestleton goes to the animal shelter to help her friend, Amamda, adopt a cat for her dog, Good Girl. A few days later the cat is catnapped and someone has called in a ransom request. Amada goes to pay the ransom and retrieve her cat. With cat in arms Amanda is found by Alice dead with an ice pick in her back. Now what?
