In my book, the main protagonist, Katniss, wants to survive the Hunger Games. She was chosen to represent her district, and if she survives the Hunger Games, she will become famous and rich. If she loses, she dies. The obstacle in her way is the other tributes chosen to participate in the games, who are trying to kill her.
