And I'm almost there, I'm almost there...

I believe I've said this before but poor Sonya. She has to be one of the most tragic characters in this story, at least she is to me. Speaking strictly of the characters we've come to know. I so wanted her to get a happy ending, but I don't see that happening. On a more important note? The end is near! Less than 100 pages to go! #readwp

Made it to the epilogue!!!
Tolstoy kind of broke my heart in this last section I read and then proceeded to make me kind of hate both Pierre and Natasha by the end. It's funny though, I didn't expect to have couples I'd be rooting for but I was wrong. There were three I was pulling for and absolutely none of them will work out. Pfft. Anyway, I'm amazed I've made it this far. Ready to be done with this!

When I started this book and as I've struggled with it, the main thing that made me continue reading it was how good it would feel to be able to say I'd read this book. Now, having read 986 pages it occurs to me that I've come to really care about a bunch of the characters. Two in particular and what's happened/happening to them has made me so sad. Poor Sonya and Andrei. :(
