It's a sort of simple story with not so simple characters. The pacing perfectly fits the story.I like Jim and Mark more and more with each page I swipe.
That being the first book... it felt calmer than this one? And since we're further along in their relationship here, they are more front and center rather than events.This is definitely not a rollicking shoot 'em up, but more of a simple presentation of a not so simple existence for these two. It's a quiet story, if that makes sense. I feel like I still haven't explained it lol
