Good story, but proof reading would have been a plus. I'm enjoying the author's shift away from the history a bit and making Edith of Mercia's politically expedient marriage to Harold II a lovematch, and making it happen before January of 1066. Don't agree with that, but this is fiction - and it's pretty good fiction.
