I found that I had a lot of trouble getting through the last two stories. They were historical fiction, set during the Civil War, which is not my favourite genre or time period. The writing was decent, and for people who like that kind of stuff, I'm sure they were good books, but they were definitely not "my thing". I much preferred the Witch World stories.
