Charles and alistar are still talking but Cordelia looks away because she feels she is invading his privacy. Even the way alistar looks at Charles is very private she thinks. James is trying to find out who is grandfather is since the demon told him it was a prince of hell. He has no leads and is disappointed.

The warlock has agreed to try and help the hero sales, so long as they don’t tell anyone but Cordelia about it. Cordelia and alistar arrive late and convince sona their mother that they went to go help the sick at the herondale house. Later Charles Fairchild arrives at Cordelia’s house and alistar and him talk. Lucie goes to invesitigate and finds out that they are lovers, but Charles is with someone else.

Lucie Cordelia James Mathew Thomas alistar and the rest of them are fighting with the demons. Grace stands back not knowing how to fight. The demons end up leaving because of the fact that James is related to a demon prince. They are all shocked and then Tatiana comes to take grace away. Lucie James and Christopher go to their house and talk with a guest.

Alistaos arrives to pick up Cordelia to find that she is missing. He almost fights Thomas when Cordelia arrives with Mathew and Anna. They have to rescue James as the demon will be after him. Grace tells James that her mother is taking her to Idris and keeping her from communicating. She talks him they have to elope and get rid of their marks, become human. But he refuses and she gaslights him.

Cordelia Mathew and Anna are in a meeting with two warlocks trying to convince them to help. Since the situation of day demons and incurable poison is out of hand. Cordelia reveals that a mermaid with them loosened the warlocks cups and she saves their lives. So the warlocks agree to help the shadow hunters with the demon problem. Anna flirts with everyone and everything.

Jesse and lucie are still talking and when her father comes in he can’t see Jesse. Jesse tells lucie that her brother is in danger because of the demons that attacked Cordelia in the greenhouse. They are after grace and if James is twitch her they will attack him. Cordelia Mathew and Anna arrive in a strange place with many downworlders like vampires werewolves warlocks and mermaids. Cordelia is surprisingly calm.

Mathew shows up interrupting Anna and Cordelia’s talk. They end up going on a mission and Matthew is surprised that Cordelia was willing to go with them. While in an alley with Cordelia Mathew starts reciting a poem verse and people start clapping for him. Lucie is writing a story when Jesse appears in her room and she is startled. They talk and as it turns out he was right in saying no one except her can see him.

Cordelia’s mother makes her older brother drop her off at Anna’s house. When she arrives a mundane girl is crying on the steps and she is confused but the girl is quickly taken awah bu her mother who thinks Anna is a man. James gets a letter from grace where she says she is in danger and need his help. Mathew and the rest of his friends wonder how they are in love .

James is being accused of being drunk and smashing the blackthorns greenhouse. His father is very upset and no one knows the truth that he was there because he saw a light which lead him to Cordelia. He thinks it’s because of her sword. All his friends are questioning him. Cordelia is headed to tea with an important shadow hunter.

Cordelia is being dragged by the demon in the green house when suddenly someone helps her. She realizes it’s James and together they Tun from the demon and manage to get out. James heals her wounds and lucie comes worried. James is there as a shadow but he doesn’t tell lucie. Cordelia and lucie try sneaking away from the house when they see a large crowd of people heading towards it. James doesn’t know.
