loving the It subchapters, sort of glad they’re only appearing now, sort of disappointed for the same reason

how was that both underwhelming and exhilarating

not to be That person who critices a book based on its adaptations, but i'm unsure whether the Effect is greater when presented w King's og dual timeline chronology or w Muschietti's time jump chapters - the 'placement' of certain scenes in the book feels disconnecting, while the movies build up towards that emotionally charged significance? really curious how the intertwined timelines play out either way
