Reading Vital Abyss now before I dive into Babylon’s Ashes!

Finished Gods of Risk. Enjoyable novella that gives good perspective into Bobby Draper’s crisis after the events of Caliban’s War through the eyes of her nephew David. Already read The Churn and reviewed so this is where I stop until I progress through the series and read these novellas in turn where I should. On to Nemesis Games! So excited!

Finished Drive and The Butcher of Anderson Station. I had familiarity with these as both were prologues to two episodes of The Expanse TV series. These short stories are slightly different as you get more background on the characters and their thoughts that a TV show can't replicate. Loved them both as they added humanity to Fred Johnson and a sad background to a major piece of technology in Drive.

So since I already read The Churn (Amos!) I’m only going to read the first three and then tack on the other short stories in my review as I go forward in the series. I’ll be starting Nemesis Games right after I finish the first 3 short stories.
