I wish that the author also included how many of the participants of “Paris is Burning” felt cheated or taken advantage of by Livingston. I think this bias is because of her heavy involvement in this book. Since i’m not finished they may discuss this later, they didn’t discuss it when they mentioned Madonna’s appropriation of ball culture.
