This reminded me of Dr. Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. It is a hilarious take on a kid overcoming the loss of his father to cancer. His father was an efficiency expert and he was Thaddeus's role model. Thaddeus always loved trying to make things more efficient but after his father's death he becomes a bit more determined and a bit irrational in his attempts to better the lives of those around him. Loved it!
