A significant moment is when Clary and Simone are at the Pandemonium Club. She spots two people carrying knives following someone so she tells Simone to get the bouncer. Even though he doesn't see them he does it anyway. When Simone and the bouncer discover her, she is in a room by herself. This is when she realizes that she can see things other people can't which propels her to learn more about the shadow world.

My book is told in chronological order. The book starts with Clary Fray at a Pandemonium Club in New York City. There, she discovers that she can see people that her best friend Simon can't. The book then follows Clary's journey as she dives deeper and deeper into the shadow hunter world.

If I were in the story I would want to be friends with the main character Clary Fray. She has a great and exciting personality that I would love to be around. When Clary found out she could see people others couldn’t, I wanted to be right next living the entire experience.
