Kisholi, it gets worse. Trust me, toss this one out. Read "The Archer's Tale" trilogy. You won't put it down and you won't believe it's the same guy.

I knew I should have just listened to you in the first place, Mike. Saw your review but thought I'd give it a chance anyway... ugh. What a colossal waste of time. The only Cornwell books in my library were this and the second or third book in the Sharpe series so I didn't really have a choice.
