It is well researched, and uncovers horrible ruthlessness and racism that dominated America, first as colonies, and then as the United States. It took outstanding scholarship and courage to write this book. I can see that the natives were never allowed their own ways of living, to grow from. They were left in a hole in desolate isolated locations.
