The Less German chapter is so heartwarming and sad at the same time. I’m enamoured, happy and sad for Arthur Less. For the miscommunication, it is one of my favourite chapters.

Less Moroccan chapter has got to be one of my favourite chapters, at first I wasn’t sure but sneaks up to you as you get to the end of it. Two very poignant ways to look at love. So many questions about love. My heart. My mind is astonished. Why do I love this so much?! (It’s just so good)

The Less French chapter was so so. There were a few endearing scenes, and a wonderful description of what it’s like when you first meet someone and imagine all these things about them before actually knowing anything. My least fave chapter of ‘em all based on content but then again, it’s like saying it’s the just the bottom of the best because it was still amazingly written.

Just finished the Less Italian chapter. The jumps in time have increased and I think this is where you really begin to get a lot of the charm and essence of the book, as context and emotions are given even more depth. I laughed a LOT in this chapter. And for a second go at this book, it is still actually making me laugh out loud.

Just finished the Less Mexican chapter, and reminded (not that I needed it) as to why I love this book so much and why I hold it in such high regard. To take you on multiple journeys and switch back and forth from present and past without it being a nuisance is pure talent. The writing, the imagery, the emotions.

This is my first re-read, which I decided to do before I get started on Less Is Lost (so excited to have access to a digital ARC!)
