It was one of the books that we could take, yeah.I've read 4 of the short stories, so far. 1 of them was alright, the rest have been rambling and surface level meaningless. I'm sure if you were to analyse every excessive, tangential and disjointed sentence you could unfurl layers of deep meaning. But if you fail at the surface level, then why bother writing a story?
Being clever for clever's sake is ironically stupid.
If it continues in this way, it will likely be a 1-star. If it was a novel I would DNF it.
Yeah I hate writing like that too! A potential one-star is exciting though, purely for the drama of it 🤣
