It is slightly ironic, at this moment in time when Jews and Muslims are shelling each other while Christians say to Muslims "if they destroy your mosques come to our churches to pray", to read about a time, during the initial rise of Islam when they kicked out Christian Rome (and Zoroastrian Persia for that matter) that Jew and Muslim both rejoiced together in throwing out the Christians from Jerusalem.
