i just wanna say.... if demon prince bad why sexy😌🤧

halfway through & im still so engaged in this story. the world building is still very illustrious and vivid, and there have been many battle scenes with the stakes rising higher each time that i've really enjoyed, especially seeing xingyin's growth and battle prowess improve each time. also love how she has truly grown from a naive, brash & innocent girl to a mature young woman while still staying true to her heart.

we've met our first love interest, liwei, and i love him already🥰 his interactions with xingyin are so cute, looking forward to seeing them develop more chemistry with each other. also, xingyin has now achieved the first step of her plan to save her mother, and im excited to see how everything will unfurl from here.

absolutely LOVE the xianxia and costume drama vibes- from the scenery to the clothing and magical powers of the immortals. also loved the exploration of the legend of the moon goddess, and how much truth each variation of the story holds. the mother daughter relationship between chang'e and xingyin was also so endearing and precious, and i especially love how their names are a symbol of companionship with each other

only at chapter 1 but the writing is so beautiful and whimsical, my costume cdrama heart is so happy and fulfulled
