All American Boys is written in chronological order. When Rashad gets wrongly assaulted by a police officer the story continues it doesn't have a flashback. After the event Rashad is rushed to the hospital and ends up being in a spotlight of attention, still with no flashbacks keeping the story in order with all it's events. In conclusion the novel must be in chronological order since all the events are in order.

A significant moment is when Rashad is wrongly accused of stealing and is beaten by the police for no reason. This is significant because it sets up the book for the rest of the story. Rashad gets all this attention since the people are angry at the injustice of this situation. In conclusion this is a important moment because it set up the story.

I would be Rashad's friend If I was in the story. I would be his friend because when he get abused by the police for things he didn't do because he is black, for example when the police accuse Rashad of trying to steal chips, then they beat him until he was bleeding out of his mouth and had multiple broken bones, I could stand up for him as a white friend so stuff such as this wouldn't happen to him.
