Just read The Unholy Grail. I was not familiar with The Gray Mouser or Fritz Lieber's work before reading this so I was taken quite a bit by surprise by the nature of this story and the ending as well. I enjoyed this one very much and much enjoyed Lieber's use of metaphor and his prose. I have never read magic described with such detail in the way it is here. Highly recommend.

Finished Black God's Kiss. Moore manages to describe an adventure through an alien landscape full of wonders and horrors, while not droning on needlessly on the exact details of the world. She leaves just enough to the imagination while her writing is a joy to read. A great example on how to move the reader into a fantasy setting.
