I needed this book. Review to come.

Josh seemed exhausted and worn, another grief added to his life, another filthy acquisition to steal his joy.

Keldon wanted this. He wanted to learn more about beekeeping and vegetable farming. He wanted to go to the farmers' market three weeks in a row and not complain. And he didn't want to do it to please Josh. He wanted it for himself.

Keldon chewed gently on Josh's lower lip, and Josh sighed with the kind of satisfaction that communicates, You found one of my magic spots.

Josh threw the apron to the wood floor and said, "You know what will help you get that taste out of your mouth?" He stripped off his underwear next and kicked it across the room. "Sucking dick."

He was also surprised Josh was so forthright, so suddenly dirty and demanding. He liked it.

It was the first time he had put the briefcase in the trunk, and he discovered he liked the sensation of being more physically distant from the art. He sensed a ritual forming at that moment, locking the art in the trunk after each filthy acquisition.

"Truth or date?" Josh said in a dreamy voice.
"Truth," Keldon said quietly.
"Do you think people are basically good or basically terrible?"
Keldon said, "Let me think about it."
Josh slurred his words. "After tonight, I think good."

With their bodies pressed together, Keldon could feel Josh slip deeper into sleep and thought to himself, Some people are good.

"You have to work that out with her. But for tonight, let's not be employees who work for these tough broads. Let's just be horny guys who got overly tired clubbing in Chicago and fell asleep together. I will totally buy you breakfast in the morning."
Keldon took Josh's hand and felt something like relief to have made a decision.

Keldon hated money's grasping influence, and he hated how much he wanted more of it.
