Sadly -well my feelings on this topic are rather ambivalent, and to be honest I don’t know what my temperament is- I find the predicament the protagonist finds herself to be rather familiar. I often find myself reading less relatable fiction. Whether it be time period or the age of the characters, but the experience of the protagonist is seemingly ubiquitous in this. And I cannot see a desirable outcome for Poppy.
