SO this book is talking to me where I have lived for a lifetime so far. Shedding buckets of tears and many imprecations to the powers that be. HOW does this happen so repeatedly in my reading progression? Books are lifeblood, yes, but sometime it seems a bit -- what? THIS is a life-changer to borrow an expression from my online CR family. Holy cow what a ride thus far!

Yegods -- this is a strictly serendipitous reading experience as I picked the book up at random with another from the two books for $5 cart outside The Bookstore (the used and new book emporium in Lompoc along with the recently read McCloskey memoir and my BLING bracelet with its disc charm engraved 'hope'.
