Malice strikes at the X-Men!
The good to come out of this: Alison Blaire is now part of the X-Men.
The bad news is the X-Men are now criminals, thanks to a possessed Rogue… and Malice is not done ‘having fun’.
The way this ish connects to the Mutant Massacre story; Malice is associated with the Marauders.

The young psychic proves exactly what she can do after Sabretooth breaks into Xavier’s mansion!
Meanwhile, Alison is plagued by Malice but is soon convinced to become Dazzler once again!

Daredevil #238 -
Wasn’t a huge fan of the commentary in this one.
I did like how we saw the two different opinions of costumed heroes.
One side wishes they would go away, the other is grateful they exist.
Pretty sure this was just to have a fight between Sabretooth and Daredevil.
Maybe some commentary about why ST is the way he is but I really dislike what they did with that unnamed woman he kidnapped.

X-Factor meets a group of not so friendly Tunnel Dwellers.
Meanwhile, Angel is badly hurt and unconscious.
This group of fed up Morlocks decide to go their own way.
Their plans are cut short when they garner the attention of the police.
The issue ends with the painful news that Warren’s wings are too damaged to be saved…

This issue also ends with the tunnels engulfed in flames…

Thor saves Angel plus finds Artie who leads the way to Cyborg & Marvel Girl!
Oh, he also fights with Marauder, Blockbuster. A fight that breaks Thor’s arm.
Then Hela reveals her ‘gift’ to the son of Odin. His bones are now brittle & will not heal. Not only that, he will live eternally… in agony.
Now that the poor Morlocks have become all but extinct, Thor gives the dead a Viking funeral.

I've never read this series nor was I going to read this ish but it has Franklin Richards and it was part of the event (more so than Thor #373)…
These kids fought against Sabretooth & 3 Marauders, all the while trying to figure out their powers (which were swapped…by aliens?)
Anyway, the kids find Leech & Caliban plus meet the X-Terminators.
All this before the kids’ parents wake!

Only the end connects with X-Factor #10 where Thor comes across a badly wounded Angel.
Sadly, Rose’s boys don’t believe Volstagg when he tells them their mother is gone and Hela celebrates her plan…

Not used to the stress and exhaustion, the New Mutants start to fight amongst themselves.
Then, Illyana and Shan decide to visit Shan’s apartment to see if her siblings are ok… which led them into a trap!
All issue, Warlock had been acting differently. He’d been sensing something strange…

Artie, a young mutant who's both the team’s & Morlock’s friend, tries to help. Unfortunately, that puts Angel in a deadly position.
I do like that bit with Candy. Drives home the idea that life goes on, no matter what tragedy is befalling a group of people.
