I seen this one but have so much heavy reading to do I wasn't sure I'd be able to tackle it on time. Anyhoo, it looks good.

Its good but the layout leaves something to be desired. There's four memoirs of mill life and they're each separated into a section. So the first one is fascinating but by the time you reach the second one, well, you already know how mills are set up and don't need character 2 telling you all over again. So that's a weakness in an otherwise good book. One thing I thought interesting was how (based on how you grew up), the authors would say, for instance, about talking around the dinner table, "it just wasn't done " or, "nobody did such and such ", when really it was a personal experience. Interesting how we assume everyone is like us...
